Lin Tubo is a student of Jiangnan University’s School of Mechanical Engineering’s 19th Department 43rd class.
He is one of Song Shuhang’s three roommates, together with Gao Moumou and Li Yangde. Among the roommates, he has the highest alcohol capacity, he could outdrink four Gao Moumous plus another three Song Shuhangs.[1]

Lin Tubo has hated this name for more than 10 years, he felt that this name was lame to the point of being garbage. Because of this name, he and his father have fought for many years.[2]
There was even a time where he brought his passport and ID card to the related department to change his name. In the end, when his father found out, he dragged him home, and gave him a good beating.[2]
Therefore, whenever Tubo met someone, he would ask them to call him Ah Bo, Little Bo or Bozi.[2]

Tubo was instrumental in helping Song Shuhang and Soft Feather to find the elusive Ghost Lantern Temple. He encountered the two of them who were searching for the temple.[3]
He then brought them to his grandfather. His grandfather told Song Shuhang and Soft Feather the history of the Ghost Lantern Temple.[2]

Tubo acted in a small role in the movie. After the movie was screened, he received many casting calls.
