Soul pearls were things that left behind after the death of ghosts. They are black pearls with strong and thick ghost qi within them.[1]

Ghost Cultivators[]
Aside from ghost cultivators, nobody else will collect them, since they are basically useless to everyone else.[1]
Food for spirit ghosts consumption[]
Song Shuhang and Soft Feather’s spirit ghosts were able to consume soul pearls as a food.[1][2] However, there is a high possibility that it’s something unique only these two spirit ghosts, since it was something unknown before.
Trivia[]
Apparently, soul pearls taste like chocolate.[2]
